Cold Steel Rolling includes four processes which are pickling, cold rolling, annealing and temper rolling. During pickling, the scales formed on the surface of hot-rolled steel get scraped out. After pickling, cold rolling is done to reduce the thickness of the steel strip. Next, annealing is done to relieve the stress developed in steel during cold rolling. Then comes the temper rolling, which provides the desired mechanical properties in the market-ready cold rolled steel strips.
